This page explains where to direct questions about official Chattooga County court dockets and case records. Most requests belong with the responsible clerk or court, not with this private reference resource. The routing below separates county clerk records, court dates, city tickets, and document requests.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This is a private reference resource. It cannot pull a docket, change a hearing date, remove or seal a case, issue a certified copy, or give legal advice. Those requests must go to the court or clerk that holds the record.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Use the following routes for common Chattooga County questions:

  • A docket sheet: use the case search route for State or Superior matters, or ask the responsible clerk
  • A court date: check the court calendar and confirm the setting with the court or clerk
  • A certified copy: order it from the clerk or court that holds the record
  • A specific case: use a case search with the court and case number or name information
  • A city ticket: contact the issuing municipal court or city vendor, not a different Chattooga city
  • Other court records: see court records for the request and custodian distinctions

The primary county records route is Kim Windle James, Clerk of Superior Court, 10035 Commerce Street, Summerville, Georgia 30747, 706-857-0706. The office identifies Superior, State, and Juvenile records. A separate records-desk schedule was not posted in the inspected official sources, so call before visiting. Probate publishes 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at the same street address, and Magistrate publishes 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at 120 Cox Street, Suite C.

For county records, the clerk's official office is chattoogacountyclerkofcourt.com. For a municipal ticket, use the city named on the citation. For a Georgia Open Records request, address the request to the custodian that actually maintains the requested record.
